TRIO BIOGRAPHIES

GORDON CREE was born in Ayrshire, trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has a formidable reputation as a versatile musician and performer throughout Scotland.  As a pianist he has worked with some of the most famous names in music and entertainment - from American opera legend Marilyn Horne to British comedy king, Ken Dodd.  As a conductor he has directed some of the most well-known orchestras in Scotland, including the Scottish Concert Orchestra and the Scottish Festival Orchestra.  His compositions, arrangements and orchestrations have been played by orchestras around the world, including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Halle Orchestra, the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra (Australia) and the Auckland Philharmonia (New Zealand).

SUSAN HENDERSON is one of Scotland's most respected violinists.  A native of Glasgow, she trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and in Israel, before going on to play with many significant orchestras in the UK and France.  Formerly principal violinist with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, the Orchestre Nationale de Capitole du Toulouse and the orchestra of Scottish Ballet, she continues to play as a freelance musician in many of the UK's top orchestras and ensembles.

DAVID MUNN was born in the east end of Glasgow and studied at Douglas Academy, Glasgow University, the University of Illinois and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.  An award-winning cellist, he has played with all of the principal orchestras in Scotland and abroad, as well as many chamber ensembles and bands.  An incredibly versatile musician, he is in great demand across a wide range of styles and idioms, and is equally comfortable whether playing classical, jazz, pop or traditional celtic music.
